As IDEA continues to offer premier advanced continuing dental education programs, we would like to thank our world class faculty and the enthusiastic endorsement and participation of the dental community for making our concept a resounding success. In this catalog you will find the highest level of training programs available anywhere.

We are often asked by colleagues what makes IDEA so special and successful. While there are many important differences, it is our "Hear it, See It, Do It" training approach that really sets IDEA apart. At the IDEA center for advanced postgraduate dental and dental technician education, world-renowned instructors discuss their area of expertise with a small group of participants in an interactive forum. The procedures and techniques they have been discussing are then demonstrated, when appropriate, on live patients in a specially designed operatory using a sophisticated audiovisual system. This extraordinary system gives the participants exceptional visibility and verbal interaction with the operator during the demonstration. The participants are then engaged in hands-on learning experiences in IDEA's one of a kind, state-of-the-art, simulation laboratory. IDEA training programs go far beyond standard continuing education with comprehensive programs that enable participants to return to their practice with confidence in their newly developed skills.

In addition to our sophisticated training method, our programs are designed to provide a relaxed environment and plenty of time for casual one-on-one conversations with our internationally respected faculty. The participants and faculty enjoy three gourmet meals a day together in IDEA's beautiful dining room. All of the food is carefully prepared by our private chef, Frank Otte Jr., during meals and evening social time. Participants discuss practice styles, philosophies, techniques, and treatment planning of their difficult cases with both faculty and peers from around the world. In addition; all of the faculty and participants stay at the near-by Crowne Plaza Hotel. All transportation to and from the hotel is also included.

The quality of our training programs is second to none. The Academy of General Dentistry, the European Dental Association, the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry and the National Board for Certification in Dental Technology have certified the education provided at IDEA.
