Course Description
This practice-centered master workshop focuses on the fundamental elements of morphology and its relation to a natural function. To create a natural looking restoration which functions, morphology plays a key role after placement into the oral environment The morphology determines the optical shape and function. The surface texture is responsible for reflecting or absorbing the light and consequently the aesthetic result. The key value with this extraordinary course will be to learn how to analyze and decode the secrets of nature. The hands-on portion of this course covers the restoration of a three unit case in the anterior region plus one molar to get an overview of the diversity of natural morphology. Without any focus on color, the case will be done with ivory colored porcelain to display the shape and texture at its best. The objective is to complete a dentition by matching the remaining teeth in an effective way. All steps will be shown comprehensively. The following topics will be addressed:
