Course Description

Individualized Layering Procedures: Ceramic to Metal, Ceramic to Zirconium and Pressed Ceramic

"Oral-Harmony" aims to create something in harmony with its surrounding environment. This idea should be the aim of any treatment that we do as technicians.

During the course this philosophy will be taught through actual clinical cases and hands-on exercises in the IDEA teaching laboratory. The procedures presented in the course are not suitable for just one particular ceramic material but can be utilized for any kind of ceramics; in fact the concepts are founded on the principles of optics and art. This procedure is suitable for layering on zirconium or pressed ceramic to metal. A bridge consisting of metal ceramic with ceramic shoulders will be utilized.
