Essentials of natural esthetics and tooth morphology will be taught in order to achieve a natural smile in wax. Composition and design of the wax up will be finalized as provisional restorations. These provisional restorations provide the clinician, the patient, and the laboratory technologist with invaluable information prior to the fabrication of the final restoration. Once the approval has been obtained, the definitive restoration can be fabricated with confidence, using the esthetic form of wax up and provisional restoration as a blueprint.
