This course is a unique hands-on opportunity to improve your skills in morphology and histo-anatomy of the anterior dentition. Although bonded ceramics seem to represent the ultimate biologic, functional, mechanical and esthetic restoration for compromised anterior teeth, the number of ultraconservative treatment strategies continues to grow. The practitioner is faced with many esthetic treatment modalities. The major disadvantage of this evolution is that it becomes increasingly difficult to make the appropriate choice in a given clinical situation.

  • Study anterior tooth morphology
  • Esthetic checklist – objective / subjective criteria for natural oral esthetics
  • Progressive learning of tooth morphology through drawing exercises, diagnostic modelling, wax-up, and direct layering
  • Determine which clinical situations can be approached with ultraconservative techniques and chemical treatments
  • Noninvasive techniques – vital bleaching, non-vital bleaching, abrasion techniques and fragment reattachment
  • Study anterior tooth morphology
  • “Prepless” semi-direct CAD/CAM composite resin veneers with incisal cut-back/staining
  • Natural layering technique with composite resins
  • Progressive learning of tooth morphology through drawing exercises, diagnostic modelling, wax-up, and direct layering
  • Offer more conservative and also economical options to your patients who want to improve their smile
  • Better appreciate the high-end esthetic treatment approach to natural oral esthetics
  • High-end esthetic treatment through the understanding of objective and subjective criteria
